How it works

  1. Merge the pull request’s target branch into its head branch.
  2. Ask the agent to resolve simple conflicts and small, unambiguous correctness issues.
  3. Run the repository’s required validation command.
  4. Push the repair and request GitHub auto-merge. Branch protection still applies.

The agent only handles branches in the same repository. Fork pull requests are skipped so repository secrets are not exposed to untrusted forks.
